Our Providers
Boca Health connects patients with independent, U.S. state-licensed healthcare providers who deliver care through secure telehealth. Every treatment is prescribed only after a licensed provider reviews your intake, confirms your eligibility, and determines that treatment is appropriate for you.
Licensed Care
The providers who review Boca intakes are licensed to practice in the states where our services are available. A provider is authorized to evaluate and prescribe only for patients physically located in a state where that provider holds a license. Service availability is subject to provider licensure and applicable state regulations.
How Your Evaluation Works
- You complete a health intake describing your history, current medications, and goals.
- A licensed provider reviews your responses and determines whether telehealth care is appropriate.
- If treatment is appropriate, the provider issues a prescription and can adjust your plan over time.
- The provider may request additional information, or refer you for in-person care, before prescribing.
What a Telehealth Evaluation Is — and Isn't
The evaluation is conducted remotely and relies on the information you provide. No in-person physical examination is performed as part of a telehealth consultation. A telehealth review does not guarantee that you will be approved for medication, and it is not a substitute for a relationship with your primary care physician. A provider-patient relationship is established only when a licensed provider accepts you as a patient.
Compounded Medications
When a provider determines that a compounded medication is appropriate for a patient-specific clinical need, it is prepared by a U.S. state-licensed 503A compounding pharmacy. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved, and a pharmacy's license or registration is not FDA approval of the medication. See our Disclaimer for full medication safety information.
